    Went to Khon Kaen’s version of Radio Shack after getting my hair cut today looking for electronic goodies. I was looking for two items: a headlamp and a helmet cam.  I found one but not the other.

    i was actually looking for a headlamp that comes with a charger, but they didn’t have one.  They did have a 7 LED headlamp that runs on 3 AAA batteries.  I have a charger that can charge AA or AAA – so it will work.

    7 LED Headlamp

    The nice thing about this headlamp is you can choose to run with 1 LED, 3 LED, or 7 LED.  Battery life goes from 200 hours for 1 LED down to 20 hours for 7.

    I don’t really do any night time hunting – but – I have found myself up and awake at a beach resort at 0300 or 0400 waiting for the sun to come up before going hunting.

    This will allow me to head out a little earlier in the morning and get in an hour or so more detecting.

    The price for the 7 LED Headlamp was 109 Thai baht – or about $3.40 USD.

      The lights with chargers are available in Pattaya…go to the basement of Tukcom building, the store name is Amon – they have all kinds of electrical stuff…
