Best finds of 2009

Nothing really spectacular, but I have only had my metal detector for about 2 months. Most of my finds were clad coins, lead fishing weights (sinkers), and a bunch of beer bottle caps.
But, I did manage to find a little bit of jewelry – a silver necklace and a 14K gold necklace – at the same beach in Hawaii. Both necklaces were separated from their pendants and I remembered that if you find a necklace – look for the pendant nearby. And, if you find a pendant, look for the necklace nearby. These words were spot on.
I found both of the necklaces first and nearby found the pendants.
