Today, I had an early morning encounter with my auto repair shop. My truck broke down yesterday and I had to get it fixed.I suspected the starter but I am not a mechanic.  I was at Goodyear bright and early – 0700.  They would check.

In the meantime, I went to breakfast and then home to kill time surfing the Internet.

Goodyear called and said they thought it was only the battery but needed a new one to check.  I OK’d it and that was the problem.  So, only $158 plus $85 towing.

So, it was now about 1000, and I had already called in sick (to see the truck doctor), so headed to a beach I have never been to before.  Pickings were slim, but the day was just gorgeous.  Only 26 cents in clad, 6 lead sinkers (that I gave to a couple of fishermen there) and some can slaw.
